产品详情

3-O-Ethyl-L-ascorbic acid is also known as vitamin C ethyl ether. Because vitamin C has 4 hydroxyl groups in its structure, it cannot be directly absorbed by the skin, and is easily oxidized to cause discoloration. As a whitening agent, its use in cosmetics is limited. The vitamin C ethyl ether prepared by the alkylation of the 3-position hydroxyl group is a non-discoloring vitamin C derivative, and does not affect its biological activity, thus filling the blank of similar products in the market. Studies have shown that vitamin C ethyl ether is easily decomposed by enzymes after entering the skin to play the role of vitamin C.
 3-O-Ethyl-L-ascorbic acid is a lipophilic and hydrophilic amphoteric vitamin C derivative, which not only retains the redox effect of vitamin C but also is very stable. Lipophilic and hydrophilic amphoteric substances, which not only make it extremely convenient to use in the formula, but also make it easier to penetrate the stratum corneum into the dermis layer, and after entering the skin, it is easily decomposed by biological enzymes to play the role of vitamin C, thereby improving its bioavailability.
Application
1. Inhibits its activity by acting on Cu2+ of tyrosinase and blocks the formation of melanin; 2. Very effective in whitening and freckle removal (when 2% is added);
3. Anti-inflammation caused by sunlight, has strong antibacterial and anti-inflammatory effect;
4. Improve dull skin and give skin elasticity;
5. Repair skin cell activity and promote collagen production.
